yeah, idk. And that's the whole thing. I'm not really interested in an 'uber fancy' advertisement, y'know? They work wonders and are awesome for role playing sites..but, maybe it's just me, they seem a little ridiculous for non-role playing sites.

Of course, this is probably because I'm bothered by how pretentious advertisements and the forum game have gotten in general. Like how people won't give it a second glance if it doesn't have tons of pretty coding, etc. xD

No, I agree -- you shouldn't have to drag out the bells and whistles for a writing site. I did see at least one writing forum ad there that just had a blurb and a banner, and that place had like 400+ members.

And you know how I feel about "the forum game". I think pple are like bugs and need shiney colorful things to stare at, lol.

Ah, there we go! I like the colors, but mind if I make a small suggestion? I think the text should be a bit bigger and centered more if you're able to touch it up. But that's totally up to you. XD

oh gosh I totally agree with you. I wish people cared more about...y'know, what the site is about. I understand if the site is literally painful to look at, but some people.

lolol okay, not sure if this one is better but...
this font is weird. if it gets any bigger, then it's TOO big for the button. It also won't properly center. this is what 'center' with this font is. o.o

well, if this one is still a little wacky, suggest a font away! I want it to be a decent, fancyish font. but i;m terrible at knowing fonts. xD;

Really? I think I would use a different font then. I really don't know of any good fonts myself.
