So, we're planning on doing a move over the invisionfree server, if that's okay with you guys. This is to give us a fun new format, and also a means of eliminating the sheer amount of dead, inactive members we have without having to delete all of them. This site will still be open for you guys to look around and the like, I won't be deleting it or anything like that, but..Yeah. THE NEW SITE ALSO EVEN HAS A REAL NAME *le gasp*

To help make things easier for you, I'm willing to help you move things if you don't want to move a whole bunch yourself. What I will do is wrap things in code and post them for you, so you can just copy and paste them into a new thread from any new account there. The site is friendly toward most proboards coding thank goodness, so that should work out just fine.

If you guys still want a char bio, author worklist, odds and ends sub board, let me know and I will make you one over there so you don't have to post on the request thread. Also, if you would like an original sub board for a digital portfolio of all your original writings, let me know here as well and I'll set you up with one in advance.

And I am truly sorry to anybody this is an inconvenience to. I'm willing to help make the transition easier for you in any way if I can, and you are certainly not obligated to move if you do not wish to. If you do move, then I am eternally grateful and cannot thank you enough! I am hoping a move will mean we can perhaps attract some new members, or at the very least eliminate a lot of dead accounts without having to delete people, in case those people ever get nostalgic and want to log back in to look at things.

I will be sending an email all out as well, and making a banner at some point for this site that is clickable and takes people to the new forum, so I'll give a huge heads up, no worries!

Actually, I have it set up already, but the link is kind of buried in the middle of that post, so it's extremely easy to miss.

This is the link to the forum, and the good thing is nobody has to worry about the code and email activation thing. (at least you shouldn't have to. if anybody has to do that and can't just register and log in, let me know, because it means I haven't turned that feature off properly.)

People have the option of an original sub-board for their own stuff, but if you don't want that, you can just post your original stuff in that section. And thanks for reminding me to include this:

GUYS, SINCE YOU CAN PUT A SUB-TITLE ON INVISION THREADS, THERE AREN'T ANY CATEGORIES IN FAN FICTION AND ORIGINAL YET. This is because you can post the name of your story as the title, but in the sub-title say what fandom it's for, or what type of original writing it is, and people will see that whether they click on it or lurk in that area. You can only see the title from the main page, but if you go into the board itself or click on the thread, sub-titles are visible there.

I'll add categories later on if people really want them, but we don't necessarily need them to start off, and I'll see how people who actually join the new forum feel. If majority wants the sub-board categories, then I'll add 'im.

I've given you staff powers like you have on here and made your boards! Feel free to edit the title and description however you see fit. (i can tell you how, if you don't know how to on IV.)

And gummi i've just set up some boards for you as well 8). I'll change the names and descriptions if you want me to, just lemme know what you want them to say, but they're up and ready for your use.

If you guys want anything moved, lemme know. I'll copy and paste it and pm it to you on the site, but wrapped in code so all your formatting is there, and it'll be easy to repost. Unless you guys would rather grab the stuff and repost it yourself.

Unfortunately it is, for which I apologize. Fortunately though, invisionfree's registration process is a lot easier, so you shouldn't have to go through the activation code proboards makes you do.
