Help me, oh fellow disney lovers!

This is specifically asking help for a wonderful set of merged sites known as Fantasmick Kingdom and The Dream League. (Joseph and OLU know what I'm talking about, as they're on it and our dear Joe is mucho awesome admin there!)

I'm wanting to go back to that site and play around in both games. Fantasmick Kingdom is more, I guess I would call it 'normal'? Just, in that you play the characters more along the lines of the canon that was set up for them however you want. The Dream League is an awesome twist to the characters, where they're heroes, villains, civilians, etc. A big superhero and villain type deal, where, for obvious reasons, you change the characters up a little to suit that game.

BUT, my problem is, I have a long list of characters to choose from and I'm not entirely sure just who I want to play. I want to go for multiples, so like I did on that one other disney site that pretty much promptly died..Imma make a list of the characters on my brain, and explain things about them/what draws me to them.

There will be more on this list, since Joe and the other admins are wonderful people who let you access much more characters. :3

-Mirage (The aladdin one. The feline enchantress based off Sekhmet. Eviiil to the core.) I already whipped up a bio for her on the Dream league, and I want to pick her up for that game again, to throw yet another crazy villain at them. I'm also considering her for the fantasmick game too, because she has plenty of lives to ruin there as well.xD


- Savy Sl-2 (from BLOSC). Same story with mirage, whipped up a bio for the dream league and might be interested in playing her there again, but she could also be kinda fun to have around the fantasmick portion as well. THe only problem is, there's another char from this same show I've felt like playing as of late somewhere, so I'm tempted to kind of play Savy in one game, and this other char in the other...and I'm not sure which one to place where.

(Before anybody suggests playing them both on both games, because they're obscure enough nobody would steal them, I gotta shoot that idea down. See, I like these two chars conflicting with each other, because of the great nemesis dynamic I personally think they could have. But, I don't really like role playing that out with myself, because at that point it's just fan fiction, y'know? For chars like these two, I prefer to let somebody else have the other one, because then it's actually more fun.)


NOW ZE OTHERS:


Gwen Grayson/Sue Tenny/Royal Pain: The villainess from sky high. The older woman trapped in a teenage body, technopath, kinda a little deranged. Awesome black knight-like costume armor. I could see her fitting into both, though she'd probably make a lot more sense in the Dream league setting since it's all about super heroes and super villains. I've played her before on another site, and got a few posts in, so I'm fairly confident that I have at least somewhat of a handle on her 'voice'.


Nos-4-A2: (The other one from BLOSC, obviously. Robotic energy vampire.)

I've never actually role played as him before, but I've written fan fiction. Not that it really counts. xD I'm interested in trying him because I like him so much, and because I'm a little tired of seeing other fangirls turn him into something he's not. Even though he and Savy only met once, I kind of think they could have an awesome midget female van helsing and Dracula rivalry thing going on, which is why I don't like to play both of them myself in the same game. So, I'm not even sure which game I would play him in if I did. If i t was dream league, I'd have to drop Savy and play her in Fantasmick. If I played him in Fantasmick, Savy would stay in Dream League.



Claire, I think? *has to look up the movie and her name again*:

A very, VERY obscure character from a Disney channel movie. (Are those allowed? )

She was from that movie 'the scream team', the older sister who figured that the oh so evuuul pyro ghost was probably just misunderstood and had enough of a pair of girl balls to stand there in his face while he was destroying stuff and talk about the truth. I've actually kind of been interested in playing her somewhere, but the only other disney sites I've been on refused to allow chars like that. :/ So if DCOM movies are allowed, I'd probably jump at this chance before others.

She's basically a normal teen...except she befriended a bunch of ghosts with her younger brother, and I'd give her an interest in the supernatural and talking to ghosts and investigating and stuff. She'd probably be in the Fantasmick game if allowed, because I honestly just can't see her in the dream league.



Marnie cromwell: (another DCOM movie char.)

you know, the witch girl from the Halloweentown franchises. Except, I would only want to play her if I could like....ignore every movie after the second one. Honestly, I hated all the rest, and they replaced the actress for the fourth one. So, yeah. I am pretty excessively picky on that one, haha.


Demetri: (another DCOM movie char)

Disney's second vampire. He's the vampire from mom's got a date with a vampire. xD He's not SUPER high on my list or anything, but I liked him enough that he's on there somewhere. But I could definitely live with doing other characters before him.

Billy Butcherson: Zombie from hocus pocus, though I'd like to be able to play him as a ghost too. xD kind of able to haunt, or zombie around if he chooses. Not sure if that's allowed though.



Shego: eh, quite frankly I'm not ENTIRELY confident on my ability to play her, but she's on my list of people to try. :3


Shenzi: YUP, HYENA GIRRRRRLLL.


Talespin chars: I have a few that I'm interested in, but I have to go back and look up their names again because I forgot. xD; Yes, I'm lame. I've also been interested in talespin chars, so.. :3 yes!


I'm going to look through the list of American dragon chars again, as i might be interested in doing one..but I have to refresh my memory on the topic and get back to you on which ones.


I kind of want to put valiant chars on this list, but I don't think that'll work out. I mean Disney is on the valiant dvd, and it's official site is a branch of the disney website. But, at the same time, it was produced by another animation studio, so I think that means the characters would not be welcome on the forum.

(valiant is the movie with ww2 pigeons. >.>;)



Gypsy, from a Bug's life. I'm not super confident as they didn't give her much personality, and I'm not sure how much I could do with a character who is a BUG, but...regardless, I love this movie so she's on the list.

Oh, that is a dilemma. All of those characters are good choices, methinks. Maybe you could start out with your old standbys Mirage and Savy first, and then ask the other FK/DL members about who you should get next?

Wasn't one of your Tailspin chars that fox scientist from "The Incredible Shrinking Molly"? Dream League has Don Karnage, so it'd be cool to have more Tailspin chars around. The less-developed chars like him, Billy, or Gypsy would be interesting to see, and underdeveloped chars are always fun to play around with. Shenzi would be awesome to have around too.

Never heard of Dr. Syn before until Googling it just now, but it sounds intriguing. And it is old, it came out in 1963!

Haha, so true. I definitely do want to bring those two back..they're too much fun for me not to. And I...think so? I have to double check lol,. gives me an excuse to watch the episodes again. <3 And I saw the don karnage, I was reading one thread with him, sunshine, and doppler in it. That was a fun read! Ahh, such hard choices. But like you said, i can always ask people there when I'm back in the game.

Yeah. This forum has two different canons, meaning two different role-plays. It's basically a two in one, and you can either pay sole attention to one canon, or play in both. And don't worry; it won't be overwhelming, because when FK members are logged in, they can't see the DL portion of the site, and vice-versa. And, yeah! Fantasmic Kingdom is basically a "by-the-book" Disney RPG. The Dream League has a specific twist: Disney characters as superheroes, supervillains, or civilians. Or wild cards. Gotta love the wild cards. The Dream League takes place in an alternate universe, so while the characters retain their traditional Disney personalities, they allow a lot of creativity and user-generated content.

For Mirage, I'm still down for that Mirage vs. Sunshine plot! Do you remember it?

As for Savy, your suggestion could be a good compromise; only play one Buzz Lightyear character in DL, and the other in FK. I wouldn't fault you!

Gwen! I have a confession to make: I have never watched Sky High. But because you and Nicole seem to like it a lot, I'll definitely check it out. If she's a powered villainess, and she's hot, I support it. Hell, even if she isn't hot, I support it. I love villainesses!

Well, you're in luck! Disney Channel Original Movie characters are allowed. Because they're Disney. Yep. No red tape there.

Valiant characters are allowed, too.

As for Dr. Syn, well, it's funny you should mention that. For a long time, I considered making Dr. Syn/The Scarecrow as St. Blair Academy's headmaster. But, unfortunately, I dropped the idea. I'm glad to know someone else is familiar with the Scarecrow of Romney Marsh!

I think so! XD At least, I know we were in the talks for some epic catfighting with them, but were still trying to come up with a plot of some sort, haha. I am absolutely down for that though. >] and I'm going to be re-registering her account there today. Probably after this post, actually.

Awesoommme! Yeah, I have to think about which one to play where, although since I already have savy in dl, we'll see. I've also dropped your link on a few other forums I've been to, trying to stir up any interest, so hopefully I can get some new chars there. But if not, oh well! At least I tried.

me too! XD Sky high definitely isn't like a super great movie or anything, and is intentionally fairly campy, but heck I still love it anyway lol. Plus I think Gwen is neat. x) As I also have a thing for villains and villainesses.

And yay! lol now i'll be tempted to choose somebody from one of those at some point, but I'll start with my stand ins so I can see if I can handle more than them first, lol.

That's pretty awesome. Too bad you didn't go with the idea, but I'm overjoyed to see somebody else knows it as well! even though I was really only familiar with the recent comic first. >.>;

I neglected to mention this earlier, but I also think the idea of playing Savy in DL and Nos-4-A2 in DK (or vice-versa) would be a good compromise.

Like Shauni said, Sky High is kinda goofy, but it's the good kind of goofy that you really get a kick out of, IMHO. I totally recommend Sky High if you go for that sort of thing.

It maay be, I'm putting more consideration into that idea and who I'm going to play next wherever. And of course I am enjoying that thread, all of you are doing a fantastic job. It's both humorous and dramatic.

Well, apart from ones listed here, I know there were two from the incredibles that struck my mind as interesting to try. They were two of the offed supers you don't know much about- one was this good-looking dude popular with all the ladies who was a hero, but kind of 'watch carefully' because apparently he came to develop this sense of megalomania that supers were a superior race kind of thing.

And then there was Stratogal, the one who could fly, had super strength, and was also able to talk with birds. Y'know, the one who got killed in the jet engine. Though with her I wasn't sure what I would do, with the whole dead situation. Whether to, if played on Dl, ignore her being dead...or, make her have died and inexplicably her ghost lingered and tries to continue to fight crime- either not realizing she's dead, unwilling to admit it, or too distraught to 'move on' until she's made a difference. (since she would have died in a similar jet accident that would have killed the passengers as well, since planes don't do well with an engine exploding. and would feel the need to 'repent' for that act.)

..but her powers would not be totally the same, just ghost stuff. No idea what her new ghostly name would be. Spectergal? Spectra? XD idek.

As far as I can tell, an actual official version of that song doesn't exist. Every version I've found online has just been a mere recording of the film.

Actually, that's not the only song I want. "Come Little Children" is also a favorite of mine. That's not in the soundtrack, either. Guess the soundtrack is just of the score.

I remember my cousin and his then-girlfriend taking my sister and I to see HP when it first came out in theaters. It is a pretty awesome movie that needs more recognition I think!
