That's true, but I'm a bit nervous to. e__e After all, she was involved in a thread with a posting order, and even before I had to leave- damn semester of hell made it difficult for me to post as fast as everybody wanted. I feel really bad for having to drop and being too afraid to say anything to them, so I'm not sure I want them to remember who I was.

I saw that. I was all 'awwww' when I realized they were on the retired list. I sure hope so! It'd be great fun to have some of the BLOSC gang around. It seems the chars I'd love the most to see on there(from blosc anyway) I either can't play and nobody else knows/is interested in..or if I took them, it'd be a lot of arguing with myself between the two chars. XD

I am done with Savy's app though!I don't know weither to say I'm done, or just wait? they seem pretty good about checking all the apps.

Hrmmm. Well, I liked BLOSC, but some of the episodes ....ehhh... they weren't so great. I also used to love American dragon, but the new art change took away the charm from some of the chars. The stories and plots were still good, but I couldn't take some of the characters seriously anymore. (like the huntsman, who looked creepy in the original style, and like a large, bufoonish type disney villain with the new style.) I also preferred the old way the dragons looked, even if the new style was more 'authentic' in terms of oriental dragons and all.

The one shot chars are always fun. xD And then you can do what you want with them, and most times people can't even tell.

I think if you explained what happened, pple would be fine. They seem to be a really friendly and understanding bunch, and I have yet to see them give anyone trouble of any sort.

Yep, tho I intend on dropping Marahute soon. As much as I like her, I ended up loosing my muse for her and intend on picking up Cogsworth and The Liquidator in the future, so I didn't want seven chars to juggle. And yes, someone else who recognizes the awesomeness of Chief! XD

It's prolly a good idea to bump your app and say it's complete.

BLOSTC was alright, but I never liked it as much as I did some of Disney's other series, like DWD and Gummi Bears. I know what you mean about ADJL. I agree that the older designs were better, but I do think Chang's revamped design was a vast improvement on her old horrible one.

Hrm, well maybe I will at some point. I think it's just more the fact i was too afraid they'd be upset at me holding them up, that I waited thinking it would be fine, and then one thing led to another and I wound up being retired. And I did mean to explain it to them then, and it seems in poor taste for me to try it now. Although, thankfully I chose a fairly minor character. I think it'd be a lot worse if I'd been hogging a really popular char like a princess or something.


aww, well I completely understand that. She seems like a hard character to play for long periods of time as well, though you were very good at her. -lurks around everybody's posts a lot :B-
Ooh, Cogsworth is an interesting choice. Who is the liquidator though? I'm not familiar with that character.

Chief is awesome. I always thought he was an interesting char. I always liked him too.

To be honest, I think I really only liked the series for Savy, Nos-4-a2, Ty, and Mira. I didn't watch much of it religiously, though I loved all of those characters. Ah, DWD. Oldschool <3 that was a fun show.

Heh, thanks. For some reason, when it came to writing her dialogue, I imagined that she sounded just like Teal'c from Stargate SG: 1, only female. Cogsworth cracks me up, I’m betting he'll be fun to play around with.
Yeah, a lot of pple dislike Chief (and Amos), partly because they wanted to hunt Tod the "kawai desu foxy". I like Tod too, but pple need to consider that in those days (1) hunting and trapping was a major source of income, especially in rural areas (well, I would imagine), and (2) livestock like chickens were a considerable source of sustenance for pple, and if it came down to chickens or a fox, then the fox lost. Plus, I've seen many sites say Chief hated Copper and whatnot, which I think is totally inaccurate. I believe they had mentor/student relationship, and he started getting jealous of Copper when Copper started becoming a sucessful hunting dog. Yeah, Chief wasn't the nicest guy around, but if they hate each other so, then why was Copper so quick to declare vengeance on Tod for the train incident?

Sometimes it takes them a couple of weeks to approve apps, like it did with my Thundra app. I guess they research the char if they're not familiar with them or something.

Yeah, some series only have a few standout chars for some pple (lol, I’m like that with several). DWD is fun, you should watch it on YouTube sometimes. =D

You're absolutely right. If I was a farmer or something back then, and I saw a fox anywhere near my chickens..I'd probably shoot at the fox too. Wouldn't let that varmint steal my chickens, no matter how KAWAII DESSSUUU he was! I also agree with you there. I share that same viewpoint of Copper and Chief's relationship, and I always felt sorry for him when Copper was a hunting dog. Chief wasn't as young as he used to be, poor older gruff dog feeling replaced by a hotshot new pup. EVEN IF HE HAD...Chief is awesome anyway, so end of story to his haters.

Yeah I noticed. It took Mirage 9 days to be approved a year ago, and I noticed Thundra took them a few weeks. Ah, I can wait. The ONE episode they'd have to research has terrible quality animation, so I can understand why people would avoid it. xD It'll be hard finding Savy somebody to play with anyway, so I'll just enjoy relaxing in the meantime. and lurking on people's posts. :B

*nods* Liquidator was one of the less used villains on the show, so I can play around with his char a bit. And yep, they allow DWD. We just got a Launchpad, and we're supposed to be getting a DWD. They allow classic Disney chars, plus chars related to them. DWD is a Ducktales spinoff, so there you go. XD They're still mulling on whether or not to allow stuff like Gummi Bears and Gargoyles in tho.

On Toon Disney: Pretty much, yeah. DWD episodes... Oh gosh. My favorites ones are "Monsters 'R Us", "Ghoul Of My Dreams, "Dry Hard", "Darkwing Doubloon", "You Sweat Your Life", "Stressed to Kill"", the "Just Us Justice Ducks" two-parter, "Life, the Negaverse and Everything", "Disguise the Limit", "Twin Beaks", "My Valentine Ghoul", "The Haunting of Mr. Banana Brain", "Battle of the Brainteasers", "A Brush with Oblivion" (I think you'll really like the villain in this one, lol), and "The Revenge of the Return of the Brainteasers, Too!" I'm still rewatching the show, tho I'm being distracted by Hercules and GB right now.

Hah, aw I wonder why some people dislike her so much? I am assuming it's because she rarely got to shine up to her full potential- because the writers had to hold her back. They probably gave her a little too many powers for the purpose of being an Aladdin punching bag. Although I am seeing a pattern with the characters I like to play. People also dislike Savy (though some still like her), although in her case it's probably more the fangirls of the robot vampire pissed off she 'killed' him. lolol which I don't completely get because I managed to love him first and then adore Savy despite that but. >.> I'm not sure how people feel about that Gwen Grayson chick I've thought about from time to time, though it seems to me Sky High generally doesn't have too many fans.

Oh anyway, funny story about mirage! xD Fff, now I'm going into tl;dr territory. SORRY. One of the admins pm'd me on the walt disney account asking who i had apped as in the past, so now the cat's out of the bag, they know who i used to be, and asked me if I'd like to revive the Mirage account as well. But, it is up to them, and already they're like the only site that allows the spinoff chars. (Except for maybe disney uncut and worlds of disney, but idk.) Regardless, i need the spinoffs allowed...Because I prefer minor chars.

Yeah, a lot of pple think Mirage had bad schemes and stuff like that. Mirage's powers seemed kinda vague to me, aside from the teleporting. But you're right, it's the same case with Genie. I think if the writers had put a little more thought into her eps, she might have had a better reception.

Wow, pples' reasons for disliking Savy are.. v apid.But unsurprising. Fangirls are dumb. Gwen.... personally, I don't like her because she's a hypocrite. A great villain, but just not very likable (and someone else who likes Sky High! That film warms my heart!).

Note to self... avoid "Enchanted Christmas". Haha, you're right, that is ironic.

I'm happy to have Mirage back. XD I'd love to do a thread with all the Aladdin chars together. Mirage meeting Thundra would be interesting, since I imagine there'd be a whole cat vs. bird thing going on between them. =D

Thanks! Yeah, I can't wait to get Likky interacting with the other chars there. And I hope they do end up allowing those other shows. Like you said, I think it'd open up a whole new avenue of cool. WOD and Disney Uncut do allow spinoff chars, but they're also not really advanced sites, so there tends to be some pretty poor RPing going on at both sites. But you can find some pretty good minor chars in the films too.

You can always throw Savy into open threads, like the Egg Hunt one. Oh, and enjoy watching DWD!

Yeah, very good point there. I also think that's a curse of Disney villains- particularly when they want to make a really deviously powerful one...Then come to the conclusion that the villain is too much of a threat for the hero, and start toning them down and introducing one flaw after another. And it always seems to be the SAME old thing for every villain like this that makes them 'inept' at their villainy.

Haha, it doesn't surprise me that much either. Though, I am happy to have found actual other fangirls who feel the way I do. lol, oh she's a huge hypocrite...but I kind of like betchy characters for some reason. They would! There are so many actually decent characters that Disney puts into their cartoon shows (some of which are more complex and have more personality than movie characters...But that's not surprising, given cartoons have more time to develop and not everything is crammed into an hour.)
I can understand why they wouldn't want to allow some things. I don't ever see them allowing a show like phineas and ferb, simply because...IDK, it doesn't seem 'SRS' enough. Not that the cartoon is bad, just- well, you know what i'm driving at.

But things like Gargoyles and Kim possible and such, yeah. I think those would provide a lot of cool.

I watched several episodes. You're right, I do like that chick-she's got mad style. But I don't think I could rp as her. The way she speaks is....over my head. XD I am not confident I could come up with the same kind of ridiculous sayings. But she is a lot of fun to watch.

I like Sky High and Incredibles. SH is cute and funny, and I really like the chars. This ex-friend of mine's (he's an ex-friend because he's emo and cray-cray, not because he dislikes SH) was whining to me once about how the "unattractive" sidekicks had horrible powers, while the pretty pple had cool powers or something like that, so I watched the film and really don't undestand what on earth he was crying about. I would hardly consider any of the sidekicks unattractive. I mean, I suppose Zach's average as of most. And it was like he completely ignored the whole lesson the movie was trying to get across.

But yeah, I have noticed that with you. Funny how you go for such meanies when you're nothing like that in actuality, lol! And Gwen's powers are pretty cool.

LOL, Mirage would try to wreck Thundra's rainforest just to tick her off. We'll have to try something like that eventually!

I know what you mean about Phineas And Ferb. But I don't think they wouldn't allow it for not being serious enough, but because it's one of the new Disney cartoons (along with stuff like American Dragon, Yin Yang Yo, etc.), and many sites won't normally allow new Disney shows and cartoons regardless of their actual quality because they aren't considered "classic" Disney.

Whatever happened to that thread, Disney Uncharted? I think that would've interesting to see play out. Oh, I think Copper's in that thread, not Chief. The Egg Hunter's thread seems dead at this point. Free-for-all holiday threads tend to die out quickly, I notice. I'd love to see a (good) one that manages to last a little longer.

Splatter's vocabulary is very extensive and... uh, artsy, I guess. *L* I love it when Splatter made some long-winded response to Launchpad, who's confused by it, so he just says, "Well, stealin's stealin'." DWD is all like, "You may have confused my partner, but that won't work on me!" So Splatter fires back with some remark and confused him too, so he goes, "Well, stealing's stealin'." XD BTW, I think it'd be really cool if someone applied for Morgana, I love her to bits.

Kind of a mix between reoccurring Disney villains, and Disney villains in general. For SOME, they've broken that, but it seems a lot- yeah, that it's true when it comes to disney.

(heh, i didn't think it was just because he didn't like the movie, no worries.) I like both movies too, I think I like SH a little more because it seems so under appreciated in comparison. And yeah, I agree with you- he missed the point of the movie. And, if I'm not mistaken, it was supposed to be a playful parody of the superhero genre in genreal. And really, how many of those so-called 'pretty' people were even important to the film at all? .__. the sidekicks kicked butt in the end.

xD i think that's part of the charm? IDK, I really like playing sadistic, ruthless, evil characters. There are some I'm worlds better at, but sadly they're not Disney characters. =x
I guess there's something attractive about portraying a character that completely parallels you? o.o

I'm actually kind of interested in why people play the characters they do. For me, there's something...i love about the nasties, i enjoy writing for them and channeling all evil through them, etc. What makes you gravitate toward the types you like?

I have a few ideas for group plots too, but unfortunately the one I'd put up first requires characters we don't have. xD unless somebody else could fill in that void, but i don't think any are quite as suited as the char i had in mind.
